Jasmin Begum

Jasmin has spent the last six years at Visthar advocating for the empowerment of women, youth, and marginalised communities. As the Project Manager of the KKS project, she provides strategic leadership to her team, focusing on the agency and rights of adolescent girls. Her work is firmly rooted in constitutional values, championing the principles of equality, equity, and democracy.

Inspired by her own life experiences, Jasmin envisions a future where adolescent girls are organised within their villages and empowered to live with dignity. She is deeply committed to creating supportive environments where girls can overcome discrimination based on gender, caste, or class to build confident, empowered lives.
