Roshen Chandran

Roshen Chandran brings a unique synthesis of analytical precision and a deep commitment to social justice to his role as Director of Planning, Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (PMEL) at Visthar.

An engineer and MBA by training, Roshen spent over a decade in the corporate IT sector, managing complex systems and projects. Driven by a quest for meaningful social engagement and systemic impact, he transitioned into the development sector, bringing his technical expertise and strategic vision to Visthar.

In his role as Director of PMEL, Roshen oversees the design, monitoring, assessment, and learning frameworks across all of Visthar’s social transformation programs and community initiatives. His work ensures accountability, and continuous organizational learning.

Beyond his strategic oversight, Roshen is a skilled facilitator and educator. He co-facilitates Visthar’s certificate courses on Gender, Diversity and Social Transformation . Previously, he served as the Coordinator for the Semester on Social Justice, Peace, and Development—an immersive study-abroad program offered by Visthar for international university students.
