In the first week of June, Bangalore witnessed the vibrant and inspiring Bhoomi Habba 2024! Organized by Visthar, this annual earth festival is a much-awaited event, and this year’s edition was no different. Aligning with the World E nvironment Day (June 5th), Bhoomi Habba brought together thousands of people passionate about building sustainable and just relationships with the earth and with each other. Bhoomi Habba 2024 was inaugurated by Dr Jija Harisingh, Managing Trustee, Art Mantram, and former Director General of Police, Govt. of Karnataka.
The atmosphere at Visthar’s eco-friendly campus was electric. The day was packed with activities that celebrated the Earth and explored sustainable living. Visitors browsed stalls showcasing eco-friendly crafts, organic produce, and informational displays from individuals and NGOs working on environmental issues. Workshops, installations and poster exhibitions provided valuable insights on topics like rainwater harvesting, and alternative energy sources.

Traditional dance performances and music added a touch of cultural celebration to the event.
