Administrator

Visthar (www.vishar.org) is seeking a strategic and results-oriented Administrator to oversee the organization’s administrative functions. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing efficient administrative systems and processes, while leading a team to execute day-to-day operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Administration:
    • Develop and implement effective administrative policies, procedures, and systems.
    • Conduct process improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.
    • Oversee budget planning and management for the administrative department.
  • Team Leadership:
    • Manage and mentor a team of administrative staff.
    • Assign tasks, set clear expectations, and provide performance feedback.
    • Foster a collaborative and productive work environment.
  • Operational Oversight:
    • Ensure smooth functioning of office operations, including facilities management, IT support, and equipment maintenance.
    • Manage office supplies, inventory, and procurement processes.
    • Coordinate travel arrangements, accommodations, and logistics
    • Maintain office records, files, and databases, ensuring confidentiality and data security.
  • Human Resources Support:
    • HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, and employee records management.
    • Coordinate employee benefits and payroll administration.
  • Communication:
    • Maintain effective communication with staff, stakeholders, and external partners.
    • Prepare and distribute correspondence, reports, and presentations as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in administrative or office management roles.
  • Proven leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Kannada / south Indian language.
  • Experience with relevant software or systems
